The byway Story
byway was born on a cross-country trip with our rescues, Opie and Harley. We explored mountains, coastlines, forests, deserts, and new cities; all while taking scenic byways to get us there. Those miles sparked a calling: to build gear that encourages people to step outside, roam freely, and help more dogs find the same joy in adventure.
Through our adventures, I realized how limiting most waist packs were—they never fit what I actually needed. I wanted room for my things and our dogs’ essentials, without the hassle of a bulky backpack. I wanted the freedom to move, explore, and go wherever the day took us, all while keeping things compact, comfortable, and cute.
This one trip birthed the motto: Get Up, Get Out, Do Good.
